Leona Evelyn (Kramer) Berens, age 90, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Friday, February 2, 2018. She was born May 18, 1927 in Ft. Madison, Iowa, to Henry and Anna (Lake) Kramer. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers (Louis, Richard, and Raymond); and three sisters (Esther, Bernice, and Louise "Sarah"). She was an employee for Butterfield Trail Village Home, a companion, and worked in the food service industry for many years including owning her own café in Centennial, Wyo. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fayetteville, Ark. She loved to cook, bake, travel, and spend time with her loved ones. Leona was tremendously loved by her family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers over the years as she lived in Iowa, Wyoming, and Arkansas. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Anne (Ronald) Pulse of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Alena Albright of Kansas City, Mo. She is also survived by two sons; James (Kathryn) Berens of Bear, Del., and John Berens of Fayetteville, Ark. She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Kevin) Oney of Cleveland, Ohio. She is survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 6, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fayetteville, at 10:00 AM with Rosary at 10:30. Funeral service will then be at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Funeral Chapel.
