Alice Elin Campbell

Alice Elin Campbell, 92, of Gentry, Arkansas passed away on August 11, 2018. Born February 8, 1926 in Tyler, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Jorgan and Rigmor Christensen Alice married Warren Campbell in 1948 and had 4 girls. Alice and Warren were active in their church youth ministry, where she played the piano. She was a practicing RN for over 50 years of which 30 years were devoted to the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. In her years at the hospital, she worked most areas, but loved OB the best. She was acting Director of Nursing until they found a replacement. As Coordinator of OB, she assisted in many deliveries. She was an avid reader, loved scrapbooking, crocheting, listening to piano music, puzzle books, and studying her Bible. Her faith in Jesus was strong and even when she could not attend church you could find her listening to Doug Bachelor's radio programs. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Campbell, her sister, Astrid Holmquist and her parents. She is survived by her children, Alice Arlene Jardee of Omaha, Neb., Dolly Jane Miller and husband Bill of Springdale, Ark., Patricia Astrid Adams and husband Dale of Gentry, Ark., Valerie Sophia Berry and husband Jerry of Broken Arrow, Okla., 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m., August 15, 2018 at Wasson Funeral Home Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark.Viewing will be Tuesday, August 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wasson Funeral Home.
