Alfred Dwayne Hudson, 68, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in his home. He was a former Truck Driver, a member of Southside Baptist Church in Alma and a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was born June 22, 1949 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Alfred Willard Hudson and Altha Mae (Rankin) Hudson-Carlton. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Lois Gale Hudson and a granddaughter, Aarron Walker. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 at Southside Baptist Church in Alma with interment in Locke Cemetery in Mountainburg with military honors. Services are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Hudson of the home; two daughters, Kathy Hudson of Fort Smith, Ark. and Candie White of Alma, Ark.; two sons, Corey Walker of Van Buren, Ark. and Chad Walker of Spiro, Okla.; one sister, Billie Jean Harvey of Fayetteville, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Kevin Hudson, Michael Jamison, Zack White, Kristina Jamison, Haley White, Bironkia Walker and Ashley White. Pallbearers will be Robert Harvey, Doug Lynch, Scott Saunders, Michael Jamison, Zack White and Almon Blair. The family will visit with friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening, September 7, 2017 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, Ark.
