Carol Jean Hamady

Carol Jean Hamady, age 71, of Springdale passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 29, 2017. Carol was born in Denver, Colorado on February 25, 1946 the first daughter of Carroll F and Elsie M. (Betty) Hamady. She was a faithful member of the Lowell Church of Christ. Carol was preceded in death by her father and mother, Carroll and Elsie Hamady. Left to cherish the memories of her beautiful smile and genuine love that she had for all people are her two sisters, Linda Forshee of Claremore, Oklahoma and Judy Simpson and husband Wayne of Springdale; two nieces and four nephews. Then there was her extended family, all of the "Thursday Regulars" at the Springdale Senior Center, her many friends and even total strangers because she never met a person that she did not love. To all of the very special caregivers that so lovingly cared for Carol for the past 10 years, words cannot express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for not only the care, but the love that each one had for our special sister. To the staff at Northwest Medical Center, your attention, professionalism but most of all,your compassion made this difficult time just a bit more bearable and we thank you. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in Phillips Cemetery in Lowell. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Springdale Senior Center, 203 Park St., Springdale, Arkansas 72764.
