Dick Leech III, 78, passed away, Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017. He was born Nov. 3, 1938, in Benton, Ark., to Dick Jr. and Mattie (Sharp) Leech. He began his life as the middle child of six siblings in a family with strong Christian roots. As a teen he worked full-time with his father in the family-owned painting business. On June 12, 1958, he married his childhood sweetheart, Sara Blalock. From this marriage they were blessed with their first born Rebecca, ten years later, Carmen was born. He not only loved his daughters, but his niece Carla, as well. Dick loved his work as a painting contractor, owning his own business and provided well for his family. He loved his walk with God and family, foremost. Dick was center of his family, and will be missed by all that knew him. Dick is survived by his wife, Sara (Blalock) Leech of Elizabeth, Ark.; his daughter, Rebecca Neustel (Elton) of Felton, Pa.; his niece, Carla Mason (Johnny) of Viola, Ark.; a special nephew, Brett Garrett; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two sisters; Mattie Goodrich (Wayne) of Benton, Ark.; and Mary Narramore (Bob) of Dallas, Texas; and a beloved grandchild; Lily Foster. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dick Jr. and Mattie Leech; his daughter, Carmen Foster; a brother, Gene Leech; and two sisters, Betty Oetken and Maude Parkman. A visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at noon with the funeral service following at 1 p.m. at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain Home with a graveside service following at Elizabeth Cemetery, in Elizabeth, Ark.
