Peggy Sue Taylor

Peggy Sue Taylor, 81, of Owasso, Okla., passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at St. John Hospital in Tulsa surrounded by her family. Services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Moore Funeral Home in Owasso, Okla. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Dighton-Moore Funeral Service chapel in Owasso. Pallbearers will be Walker Whitten, Austin Whitten, Dalton Taylor, and Zachery Taylor. Interment will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Okla. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the funeral home with family greeting guests from 6 p.m. to p.m. Peggy was born May 13, 1936 in Bentonville, Ark., to Edward and Agnes (Vinson) Dickey. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one daughter, Donna Whitten and husband Ike of Ozona, Texas; one son, David Taylor and wife Patty of Owasso, Okla.; eight grandchildren, Austin Whitten of San Marcas, Texas, Walker Whitten of San Angelo, Texas, Cassie Taylor of Owasso, Okla., Brandy Cotton and husband Bruce of Skiatook, Okla., Courtney Wilkens and husband Kevin of Owasso, Okla., Dalton Taylor of Owasso, Okla., Zachery Taylor of Stillwater, Okla., and Katelynn Taylor of Claremore; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry in 2011.
