Clarence A. Miller

Clarence A. Miller, 74, of Gentry, Ark., died Oct. 5, 2017 in Fayetteville. He was born Aug. 26, 1943 at Arthur, Ill., the son of Ammon A. Miller and Mattie N. Yoder Miller, where he was raised Amish until his family moved to Arkansas in 1957. He was a dairy farmer for 55 years, a brick mason, feed store manager and hay hauler. He was a member of the Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church in Gentry. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Wanda Lorene Todd Miller, one grandson, Keegan Nathaniel Miller, and two brothers, Enos Miller and Johnny Miller. Survivors include: his wife, Lillian Mae Koehn Miller, whom he married on Sept. 19, 2010; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremy and Meredith Miller of Clifty, Ark., and Jonathan and Gaylyna Miller of Skiatook, Okla.; six daughters and six sons-in-law, Malinda and Trey Fitch and Cindy and Dave Robinson, all of Hindsville, Ark., Pam and Carl McGarrah of Clifty, Ark., Debbie and Curtis Creek of Springdale, Ark., Sarah and Justin Hopper of Rogers, Ark., and Bethany and Jesse Husmann of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Marvin Miller and Ruben Miller; four sisters, Annie Caldwell, Eliza Stilley, Ella Steinfeld and Alma Phillips; seventeen grandchildren, Carl Fitch, Sam Robinson, Josh Robinson, Julie McGarrah, Mattie McGarrah, Katie Gill, Matthew Thomas, Aaron Thomas, Josh Creek, MacKenzie Creek, Brock A Miller, Ashton Miller, Brynleigh Miller, Addisyn Miller, Caleb Miller, Reed Clarence Hopper and Evelyn Husmann; and many nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Gentry Mennonite Church with Minister Jack Burns and Minister Dwayne Koehn officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at the Clifty Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Arkansas at 3 p.m. Monday. Pallbearers will be: Trey Fitch, Dave Robinson, Carl McGarrah, Curtis Creek, Justin Hopper and Jesse Husmann. Honorary pallbearers will be: Carl Fitch, Sam Robinson, Josh Robinson, Matthew Thomas, Aaron Thomas, Josh Creek and Brock A. Miller. Visitation and memory sharing will be from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday evening at the Gentry Mennonite Church.
