Van Jeffrey Endacott, age 56 and longtime area resident, died Friday, Sept. 22, 2017 in Merida, Mexico, where he had moved to within the past year. He was born Dec. 29, 1960 in Springdale to Dr. William and Patricia Hughes Endacott. Van was an entrepreneur and enjoyed reading and outdoor activities including fishing, riding motorcycles and camping. He was an animal lover and had a passion for life and adventure. He is survived by two daughters, Megan Little and husband Bradley and their son, Raylan, of Springdale, Samantha Endacott of Hollister, Mo.; one step-son, Michael James Tankersly of Ft. Polk, La.; one brother, Tim Endacott of Huntsville; one sister, Pamela Endacott Carter of Springdale; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a niece, Hillary Carter. A memorial gathering will be from 4 - 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the east pavilion at J.B. Hunt Park pavilion – look for the red and white balloons. You may wish to bring a lawn chair.
