Jane Frances Camp Pianalto, age 57, passed away Nov. 8, 2017 in Katy, Texas. Jane was born Nov. 16, 1959, in Springdale, Ark. She was the daughter of Warren Scheley Camp Sr. and Frances Baker Underhill. Jane graduated from Springdale High School in 1978. She went on to graduate from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences - Little Rock with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1983. She specialized in the cardiovascular ICU early in her career at the VA hospital in Little Rock, Ark., and went on to work in the high-risk OBGYN clinic. Jane was a member of First United Methodist Church while she lived in Springdale. In August of 1980, Jane married the love of her life, Gregory Pianalto of Tontitown, Ark. They were married for 37 wonderful years. Greg and Jane moved to Plano, Texas in 1993, where they raised their two daughters, Shelly Pianalto Doggett of Austin, Texas, and Paige Pianalto of Dallas, Texas. Jane continued her nursing career working in OBGYN and infertility, helping many couples start their own families. Jane retired three years ago, allowing Greg and her to enjoy traveling, especially to various beaches. She loved college football and fishing for the "big one," which was always a story upon returning from a trip. Jane also enjoyed never losing in a competitive game of Spades with family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and caring mom, wife, and grandmother to her family. Jane is preceded in death by her father W. S. Camp Sr.; brother Warren Camp Jr.; sister Sarah Camp Wallace Gladdin; and stepbrother Jay Underhill. She is survived by her husband Gregory Pianalto; daughter Shelly Pianalto Doggett and her husband Kit Doggett, as well as their son, Spencer; daughter Paige Pianalto; her parents, Frances Camp Underhill and stepfather George Underhill Jr. and her stepbrother and stepsister, Michael Underhill and Leslie Scates. Jane's first grandchild, Spencer Bishop Doggett, was born October 27, 2017. Jane spent the first weeks of his life caring for and spending time with him and her family. Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Springdale, Ark., on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. officiated by Reverend Judy Van Hoose. There will be a visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church for friends and family. Following the church service, Jane will be interned at the Saint Joseph's Tontitown cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Arkansas Children's Northwest hospital and mailed to 4093 West Sunset Ave., Suite 102, Springdale, Ark., 72762, marked with a note in memory of Jane Pianalto.
