Lawrence Recil Hadley, 72, of Bella Vista, Ark. died peacefully in his sleep on November 4, 2017. Recil was born on January 9, 1946 to Lawrence Lester and Virginia Othella Hadley in Fort Worth, Texas. Recil was a machinist and worked for Emerson Electric for 27 years. He had a love for cars, motorcycles, and the outdoors. His love for his family was always evident. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Buster Hadley. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Daphena Hadley of the home; his mother, Virginia Othella Osborne of Southwest City, Mo.; a son, Darren Hadley of Seligman, Mo.; two daughters, Denell Rozell of Grove, Okla. and Rhonda Jones of Gravette, Ark.; and son, L.R. Hadley of Springdale, Ark.; two stepdaughters, Latisha Rundel of Bella Vista, Ark. and Carla Galvan of Broken Arrow, Okla.; four sisters, Cindy McCallon of Juneau, Alaska, Valdean Hadley Bailey of Little Rock, Ark., Jackie McDermott of Poway, Calif., and Noretta Lawrence of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and a brother, Arlan Hadley of Southwest City, Mo.; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 9th, 2017 at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. at 2 p.m., with Rev. Fred Schaap officiating. A visitation will also be held at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. On-line condolences may be made at www.funeralmation.com.
