Edie Mae Mayes, 68, of Hindsville, went to be with the Lord Monday May 21, 2017. She was born April 1, 1949, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the daughter of Ed and Peggy Peters Bradley. She was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church in Springdale and was a retired USDA Inspector for Tysons Poultry. She loved sewing and crocheting and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother; James "Donnie" Bradley, sister; Barbara Denzer, and two grandchildren; Nayshya Trammell and Kayla Reynolds. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dennis Mayes of the home; children; Paul Bradley and Kim of Bella Vista, Ark., Cynthia Byrd and Aron of Hindsville, Ark., Stacy Mayes of Hindsville and Yolanda Reynolds and Dawson of Springdale, Ark., brothers; David "Huck" Bradley and Carolyn of Tontitown, Ark. and Roland "Pete" Bradley and Mary of Summers, Ark. Sisters; Mary Jo Elam and David of Bentonville, Ark., and Jerri Bradley of Neosho, Mo.; eight grandchildren; Cody Bradley, Skylier Trammell, Damian Trammell, Paienze Byrd, Gunner Reynolds, Devin Byrd, Destini Mayes and Dyllan Mayes and great-grandchild, Joseph Trammell. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at Faith Assembly of God Church in Springdale with Pastor Tim O'Brien officiating. Burial will follow in Phillips Cemetery in Lowell under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Gary David Denzer, Eric Elam, Brad Elam, Stephen Griggs, Tye Bradley and Russell Denzer. Honorary pallbearers will be grand and great-grandchildren.
