Glena D. (Cooper) Rutherford, 91, passed away on May 17, 2017 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Born in Melbourne, Arkansas, July 31, 1925 and raised in Ava, Missouri. During WWII, Della worked at the Prisoners of War Department in Washington, D.C. before returning to Ava, Missouri as office manager for Kraft Foods, Inc. A resident of Chatham, New Jersey for 50 years, Della became a real estate agent in 1962 and owned and operated Glena D. Rutherford Real Estate from 1972 to 2004. She received the Realtor of the Year in Morris County, New Jersey Award in 1989, and the Harry L. Schwarz Achievement Award for 1987 for recognition of exemplification of Realtor spirit. Della was past president of the Chatham Newcomers Club. Della moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip J. Rutherford. She is survived by son, Richard A. Rutherford and wife, Dr. Margaret Rutherford; grandson, Robinson P. Rutherford, all of Fayetteville, Arkansas; daughter, Susan R. Devlin and husband, Joseph of Meredith, New Hampshire; sister, Gay Freeman of Frisco, Texas; and brother, Bob Cooper of Mountain Grove, Missouri.
