Lucille Rizley, 94, a resident of Springdale, Arkansas, passed from this life May 15, 2017 in Springdale. She was born June 8, 1922 in Kenwood, Oklahoma, the daughter of Marshall L. Gregory and Margaret Reed Gregory. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Rizley, whom she married March 27, 1943; four brothers, Clifford, Clyde, Curtis and John Gregory; five sisters, Alpha Palmer, Billie McNabb, M.L. Sprouse, Anna Belle Workman and Connie Ritter. Left to cherish Lucille's memory are two sons, Frank Rizley and his wife, Sybil, and Wayne Rizley and his wife, Edith; two daughters, Betty Graham and Linda Adams and her husband, Wendall, all of Springdale; eight grandchildren, Rick and Ronnie Graham, Shelly Wheeler, Angie Luper, Jacque Rizley, Shannon Borland, Aaron and Dylan Adams; 15 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Lucille was a lifetime resident of the area. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Springdale. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, cooking and baking. She was known for her outstanding fried chicken and pies. She treasured spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2017 at First Assembly of God in Springdale with Rev. Steve Borland and Rev. Bob Fant officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie and Marty Graham, Aaron and Dylan Adams, Monte Wheeler and Frankie Luper. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Assembly of God in Springdale.
