Margaret Lucile Carroll

Margaret Lucile Carroll, age 92, passed away Tuesday May 9 2017 peacefully in Springdale, Ark. She was born March 11, 1925 in Lockport, Ill., to Maurice and Lucile Doyle. She resided in Joliet, Ill., and retired to Rogers, Ark. in 1983. Margaret was called home to be with her loving husband of 63 years Howard J. Carroll Jr. She was a loving wife and mother, enjoyed life with her family, and good friend to many. She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and volunteered at St. Marys' Hospital both of Rogers Arkansas for 23 years. In 2007 she became a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale. She is proceeded in death by son James Patrick, parents Maurice & Lucile (Meurer) Doyle brothers Joseph, Maurice, James, Raymond, Peter, and Martin. Sisters Mary (Fuhrman), Catherine (Glade), Dolores (McDermott) and Teresa. Grandchildren Jesse Long & Aram Carroll. She is survived by sons Michael (Patti) Carroll Phoenix, Ariz., Thomas Carroll of Monterey, Calif., Martin Carroll Joliet, Ill., Joseph (Lynn) Carroll Joliet, Ill., and Steven (Ouida) Carroll of Baton Rouge, La. Daughters Marie (Rickey) Fields Springdale, Ark., Jeanne (Gary) Daniels of Tontitown, Ark.,; one sister Sr. Dorothy Jean Doyle RGS; Thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-noon Tuesday at Moore's Chapel with a funeral service to follow at noon at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Interment of ashes will take place at a later time in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
