Brian David Daggett

Brian David Daggett was born to David and Dorothea Daggett on Dec. 9, 1953, in Stafford Springs, Conn. He lived his entire life in Connecticut until moving to Bella Vista in 2007. He loved Ark., and felt he lived "in a mansion" with his friend and partner, Margaret Washburn, until his death May 3, 2017. Brian was a self-made man and proud to say that nothing was ever handed to him. Beginning as a teenager in his home town, he was a carpenter, a roofer and a landlord. He built a very successful home remodeling business and ran it for over 30 years. He was happiest with a project. When he moved to Arkansas, he then made work his hobby. He continued to have rental property, remodeling the houses and doing lawn care. Brian loved sports and was a huge, lifelong Yankee fan. In his younger days, he played ice hockey. In his "old" age, he could still skate beautifully. Brian leave behind two sons, Benjamin and Daniel (Aschly) Daggett of Connecticut, and a daughter, Annaleis (George) Chermisqui, and one grandchild, Star, of California. There remain three sisters Jane, Pat, and Denise, and two brothers, Kenny and Jeremy, all from Connecticut, as well as two half-sisters, Nancy and Brenda, from Maine. After a brief illness, Brian died very peacefully in the compassionate care of Circle of Life in Bentonville with Margaret by his side. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. He will be laid to rest at his father's grave in Maine, the state he loved above all others. And so, until we meet again, Brian, may you Rest in Peace.
