Saundra "Merle" Taylor, passed away at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark., on Friday, March 17, 2017, due to complications following a major stroke. She was 76. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks, Hollister, Mo. Merle was born on October 4, 1940, in Pleasant Hill, La., the daughter of C. D. and Fronie L. Farmer. She moved to Rogers, Ark., in 1972, retired in 2001, and dedicated her remaining time to caring for her children and grandchildren, as well as her church. Merle is survived by daughter, Monica Taylor of Baton Rouge, La.; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Tommy Bouck, and grandson Taylor, of Fayetteville, Ark.; son John and daughter-in-law Brooke Taylor of Fayetteville, Ark., and their children, Jack and Lauren; sister Judy Remedes and husband Chester of Shreveport, La.; nephews: Kevin Farmer and Todd Remedes; nieces: Kim Hicks and Becky Loftis; and brother-in-law Sam Loftis of Monroe, La. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Modelle Loftis; and brother, Larry Farmer. A celebration of life will be held 10 a.m., Monday, April 3, 2017, at Christ's Church, 525 W. 15th Street, Fayetteville, Ark., with Pastor Jim Huffman officiating. Inurnment will be held privately with her family in Many, La. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Merle may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark.
