John "Johnny" Montell Robinson

John "Johnny" Montell Robinson Jr., of Fort Smith, died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Fayetteville Veterans Home. Born May 6, 1942 in Fort Smith, he was the son of Ruby Lee Morris and John Montell Robinson. John served honorably with the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg. He graduated from Fort Smith High School, attended the College of the Ozarks, and completed his Law Degree at the University of Arkansas. He practiced law for many years in Fort Smith. John had several businesses in the Fort Smith community including an accounting firm, a real estate agency, a mini-mart, and his law practice. He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters Kim and Lori, and one brother Robert. John is survived by his son Brent Robinson and wife Amy and their children Madoc, Gray, and Riley of Fayetteville, his brother Daniel Shue and wife Rita of Fort Smith, and his sister Jackie Swofford of Phoenix, Ariz.
