Betty Lee Gaskill

Betty Lee Gaskill, 93, long-time resident of Huntsville, Arkansas, died March 20, 2017 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born April 5, 1923 at Huntsville, Arkansas, to the late Roscoe Harrison and Laura Calico Cox. She had been married to Bill Gaskill for almost fifty years at the time of his death in 1997. Her laughter continued to ring out in the weeks  preceding her death and she enjoyed a cup of black coffee till the end. Survivors are her daughter, Trudy Karnes and husband, Gary, of Springdale, son, David Gaskill and wife, Amber of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Sydney Trumbo, Alexis Trumbo, Jordan Karnes and wife, Kasey and great-grandchildren Beau and Cooper Karnes. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at the Huntsville United Methodist Church with The Reverend Brad Moore officiating. Private interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas.
