Elayne A. Halverson

Elayne A. Halverson, 82, of Bentonville, passed away March 16, 2017. Elayne was born August 10, 1934 in Decorah, Iowa, the daughter of Walter and Agnes Buenneke. Elayne volunteered at St. Stephen's, Helping Hands, and The Friendly Book Store. She is survived by her children, Jan (Perry) Delanty, Dave Halverson, Cathy Zehnder, and Debi Paysinger. Her brother Jim (Mimi) Buenneke and sister Phutz Westfall. Elayne had eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. There will be a short prayer service March 18, 1 p.m., at St. Stephens in Bentonville. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.
