Janice Davis, 75, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away Feb. 23 2017 at Circle of Life to be reunited with her late husband Jerry Davis. Janice was born May 29, 1941 in Champaign, Ill., and preceded in death by her parents Donald & Mary Margaret Wheat and brother, Raymond. After high school Janice married her high school sweetheart James Belmont in 1961. They lived in many Midwest towns, Bellevue, Wash., and finally settled in Honolulu. In 1992, Janice married Jerry Davis and a few years later they retired in Bella Vista, Ark. Janice is survived by her daughter Jamie Catracchia and husband Sandro, their daughter Kristina and husband Sam and their children Kaitlyn & Caden. Son Jimmy Belmont and fiancé Cheryl Dryden and his children Kiana & Elijah. Her sister Charlene and husband Vernon, nieces Dena (Tim) & Jeanna (John) and numerous great nieces and nephews. Janice's husband Jerry passed away July 6, 2016 following a five year survival from a lung transplant at Duke University. He was born in November 24, 1944 in Alexandria, Va. Jerry is survived by his daughter Nicole Davis, brother Thomas Davis and sister Elizabeth Wede. Preceded in death by his parents Gerald & Nancy Davis, two sisters, Nancy Esposito and Gabrielle Davis. Both were loved by everyone as we were told by many during her final days. She had a caring and vibrant personality and did so much for others. Until a serious car accident in Nov. 2007, she lived life to its fullest with others who loved golfing, boating, the yacht club and their love of corvettes. No memorial service will be held in Bella Vista. This summer Janice and Jerry's ashes will be scattered at sea in Honolulu. A special thank you to Mike & Kim Senn and family for everything and to Circle of Life, Jeanna & John Stewart, Lisa Waller and Sandro for making the most out of my mom's final days at hospice. Also thank you to four of Janice's longtime friends Donna Brady (Champaign, Ill.) Sheri Burback (Vancouver, Wash.), Marcia Trickey (Hawaii Kai, Hawaii), and Barb Downs (Bella Vista, Ark.) as well as for all the cards, daily phone calls, texts, and flowers!!! "Goodbyes are NOT forever, Goodbyes are NOT the end, they simply mean we will miss you, until we meet again!"
