Debra (Deb) Roesener

Debra (Deb) Roesener, 66, of Bella Vista, Ark., died March 7, 2017. She was born July 3, 1950 in Ames, Iowa, to the late Ronald and Phyllis Johnson. Deb worked 20+ years for Principal Financial Group headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa. She moved to Boston, Mass., in 1995 where she held the position of Customer Service/Sales Representative. It is where she met her ever-loving husband and best friend, Norman (Norm) Roesener and they were married April 17, 1997. Norm and Deb moved to Fountain Hills, Ariz., in 1999 post-retirement. Looking for a less crowded area, four seasons and proximity to children and grandchildren, they moved to Bella Vista in Dec. of 2005. Deb spent much time helping others; always showing her love of community through action rather than words. As a Stephens Minister, she truly blossomed into who she desired to be. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Norm; daughters, Jennifer McNew of Greenbrier, Ark., and Jami Davis of Des Moines, Iowa.; and two siblings, Lt. General Michelle Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Steven Johnson of Bella Vista, Ark. She was also adored by her grandchildren; Brooke McNew, Christopher McNew, Cora Springer, Anastacia Davis, Ross Welsher, Chace Besaw, and Alexis McNew. Memorial Service to be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
