Jo Ann Lewis

Jo Ann Lewis, age 83, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017, in Fayetteville. She was born on March 4, 1934, in Goshen, Arkansas, to Elbert and Opal Clark Oxford. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Jerald Lewis; one son, James Lewis; two sisters; and two brothers. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother known to her grandchildren as "GiGi." She worked many years for the public-school system in food service and always enjoyed her time with her coworkers and the children. She and Jerald loved to go fishing and travel. Jo Ann is survived by her two sons, Randall Lewis and wife Barbara of Fayetteville, and Ricky Lewis and wife Karen of Farmington; four grandchildren, Ryan Lewis and wife Amanda, Amanda Bromley, Jason Bromley and wife Christi, and Beth Nay and husband Dave; and seven great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Cemetery Hill Memorial Park, South Appleby Road, Farmington, Arkansas 72730.
