Peggy Ann Plumlee Bailey, age 77, of Fayetteville, was called home by her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, March 4, 2017, surrounded by the family she loved so much. Heaven gained a shining light, but the examples of her life, her love and her joy will always be a part of those remaining, who loved her so much. Peggy was born Aug. 22, 1939 in Springdale, Ark., to Marvin and Louise Teeters Plumlee. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Allen Bailey, her parents, her mother and father in law, Walker & Lora Bailey, a brother Harold Plumlee, one grandson and one great granddaughter. She spent her entire career in the medical field until her retirement. Her family was the light of her life. Outside of her children and grandchildren one of her greatest joys was having Monday lunch with her brothers and sisters, which had been done continuously for many years. She also loved the annual weekend trips to Branson, Mo., with her sisters and mother. She was a member of Cross Church in Springdale. She is survived by two sons. Steve Bailey, and his wife Vicky of Fayetteville; Bryan Bailey and wife Gina of Prairie Grove; her grandchildren, Shawn Bailey & his wife Brittany of Prairie Grove, Jason Bailey of Fayetteville, Brandon Bailey & Jordan Clark of Lincoln, Sarah Miller and her husband Adam of Holt Summit, Mo., Tanner Gallman and wife Kim of Farmington, Brandon Gallman and wife Nikki of Homer, La., Michael Bailey, Jeremy Bailey, and David Bailey of Northwest Arkansas. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Marva Boatright of Springdale, Nelda Netherton and her husband Darrell of Springdale, Glen Plumlee and wife Patti of Springdale, Jimmy Plumlee of Bethel Heights and Becky Chapman and her husband Larry of Springdale. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5–7 p.m. Tuesday March 7, 2017 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday March 8, 2017, at the Moore Chapel in Fayetteville, Ark. Internment will immediately follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
