John Thomas Young

John T. Young, age 68, died Feb. 10, 2012 in Rogers, Ark. While he grew up in Illinois, he considered Northwest Arkansas his home. His travels ranged from a ten day raft trip down the Grand Canyon to canoe and camping trips in Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Many knew him as a giving person and even in death, his giving continues as his donation of eyes and tissues can touch the lives of as many as 100 people. In his memory, all who knew him are asked to consider donating their body when they die to the Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency. He is survived by his son, Thomas J. Young of Illinois and his brother, David A. Young of Pennsylvania. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers. www.rolllinsfuneral.com.
