Franklin "Bud" Andrew Nichols

Franklin Andrew Nichols "Bud,"01/04/40-06/06/17. Bud was born in LaRue, Arkansas to Jerry & Eula Mae Nichols. He graduated from Rogers High in 1957 & entered the National Guard at age 17. After basic training he moved his mother and sister to Oregon. Bud met Michelyn on a blind date and they were together for 56 years. They retired early and traveled the world. His bucket list was complete. Bud was a Eugene Firefighter for 25 years. He was a true southern gentleman. Much loved by his wife Michelyn, daughters, Trisha Eaker (Brian), Leanne Mannon (Mike), and grandchildren Kaiden, Avery, Nick and Maya. He is survived by sisters, Emma Lou & Doris Ann, and four nephews and one niece. Celebration of life will be June 30th, 11-3 p.m. At Shadow Hills Country Club, Eugene Oregon.
