Jimmy Thomas Myers was born December 29, 1960 to Velda and Earl Myers in Rogers, Arkansas. He departed this life June 6, 2017 at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 8 days. He spent his youth in Rogers, Arkansas. He was currently residing in Sapulpa, Oklahoma for the last 15 years, moving there from Bristow. He was a faithful member of Assurance Church in Mounds, Oklahoma. He loved the lord and loved his church. Jimmy was well known in Sapulpa as he walked around town making regular stops visiting with friends. He had previously worked at Freddie's steakhouse until his health wouldn't allow him to work anymore. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and making people laugh. He is survived by his sister, Nedra Jones and husband Samuel of Bristow; fiancé, Paula Watson of Mounds; half-sister, Deborah Bronson of Hawaii; half-brother, Paul Warmer of Hawaii; niece, Crystal Parker; two nephews, Jonathan Nollner and wife April and Jeffrey Jones; great nieces and nephews, Noah, Madison, Kloe, Colby, Briley and Sam. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Assurance Church in Mounds, Oklahoma with Pastor Jarrod Vanderslice officiating.
