Barbara Ann Self

Barbara A. Self, September 23, 1928. Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Max and Helen Sutton. Spent school years in Paris, Arkansas and Graduated from UCA in Conway, Arkansas. Taught School at Ida Burns Elementary in Conway, Arkansas and the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. Barbara was also a long time member of the Harmony Presbyterian Church. Survived by husband, Wendell E. Self; a daughter, Lisa A. Stephens and Mark; one step-daughter, Cindy Patterson; one step-son, Stephen Self; grandchildren, Jill Walden, Brooks Freeman, Katie Bradley and Shane, Chris Titsworth, and Kelsey Self; and three great-grandchildren, London, Ryder, and Carsten. Preceded in death by husband, Ken Freeman; daughter, Randa Morris; son, Larry Self; one brother, Don M. Sutton; and parents. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas. Graveside Service will be held 2 p.m Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Ellsworth Cemetery Subiaco, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Bruce Jones, Roscoe Moore, Floyd Pledger, Stephen Self, Brooks Freeman, and Shane Bradley.
