William "Bill" Murray Pippin, 86, of Rogers passed away July 27, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonville, Ark. He was born May 9, 1931 in Henryetta, Okla. He was the son of H.A. and Jewel Blankenship Pippin. Bill retired after 36 years from Sun Oil Company as an Oil Refinery Unit Manager. He was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Rogers and served in the United States Air Force as a staff sergeant during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, H.A. Pippin Jr., Dorthy Thompson, and Leona Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn McKinney Pippin; three children, Lauri Brown of Tulsa, Russell Pippin and James Fisher of Gross Pointe, Mich., and Janet and Ty King of Rogers; seven grandchildren, Rachel and Neil Albright, Jenna and Nik Prescott all of Tulsa, Okla., Avery and Addison Pippin of Sand Springs, Okla., Tyler and Jori King of Decatur, Ark., and Braden and Mallarie King of Rogers; two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Albright of Tulsa, Okla., and (to be born) Maebri Jane King of Decatur, Ark.; three siblings, Les and Charlotte Pippin of Sand Springs, Okla., Don and Frances Pippin of Cleveland, Okla., and Sylvia Paddubny of Lowell, Ark. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers, Ark. Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017 from noon-1 p.m. with services immediately following at Carbondale Church of Christ in Tulsa, Okla.
