William Allen Catlett Jr.

William Allen Catlett, Jr., age 89, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday July 2, 2017 in Fayetteville. He was born January 11, 1928 in Memphis, Tennessee the son of William Allen and Martha DeLille Catlett. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a Navy veteran and served during World War II. He was a member of First Christian Church. He spent many years working in management for several railroads, and toward the end of his working career was a manager for the Social Security Administration. He is survived by his three sons, Robert Allen Catlett of Fayetteville, Steven Catlett and his wife Beth of Chicago, Illinois, and Brian Catlett and his wife Amy of Cleveland, Ohio; and by four grandchildren. Graveside service were held Friday July 14 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Cremation under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
