Robert Dean Moorman

Robert Dean Moorman, 68, of Sulphur Springs, AR, entered the heavenly gates on July 13, 2017, while traveling in Ketchikan, Alaska.Robert was born in Salina, Kan. on July 1, 1949 to Kenneth Dean Moorman and Vera Bernice Frick. The family moved to Sulphur Springs, Ark. in 1960. Robert graduated from Gravette High School in 1967and continued to receive his Sociology degree from Arkansas Tech in 1972. Robert was a member of the Sulphur Springs Methodist Church and was actively involved in the Gravette School District. He was an avid Razorback fan and loved watching the Gravette Lions. He worked for Sundancer Homes in Noel, Mo. for 15 years. In 1985, he began raising chickens and cattle, from which he recently retired. Robert is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth and daughter, Robin Kimberly. He is survived by his wife and companion of 34 years, Teresa Williams; his mother, Vera of Sulphur Springs; sons, Tracy and wife, Jennifer of Gravette and Colton of Gravette; one daughter, Whitney and husband, Jeremy Sharp of Springdale; six grandchildren: Bryce, Brady and Ella Moorman of Gravette, Abbey Brown of Warren, Okla., Remington and Wesson Sharp of Springdale; one sister, Brenda and husband, Dan Yates of Sulphur Springs; nephew, Josh Stone of Gravette, and his dog, Clover. Visitation will be held Friday, July 21st from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will held Saturday, July 22nd at 10 a.m. Both are located at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. Burial will follow at the Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs.
