Glacy Bennett

Glacy "Peggy" Bennett, age 88, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away Friday July 14, 2017. She was born Feb. 25, 1929 in Kenly, N.C., to Marvin and Lanzie Starling Renfrow. She had a long successful career with AT@T for many years. She loved doing crossword puzzles, square dancing, reading and spending time with family. Peggy is survived by her husband Frank "Jeff" Bennett; daughter, Debra Bennett Masters and her husband James of Saint Augustine, Fla.; one son, Michael Kent Bennett of Mechanicsville, Va.; daughter in law, Bonnie Bennett of Bentonville, Ark.; sister, Lee Cox of Fuquay Varina, N.C.; one brother, L.M. Renfrow of Selma, N.C.; six grandchildren, Michael Bennett, Krystal Lorton, Natalie Murray, Jaclyn Murray, Sean Masters, Kevin Masters and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 1–2 p.m. Tuesday July 18, 2017 in the chapel at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
