Sandra (Sandy) Ann Moffat Hodge, 64, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, July 1, 2017. Sandy was born July 3, 1952 to Eleanor Marie and Clyde Wesley Moffat at the Burtonwood Air Force Base in the UK, where her father was stationed while serving. They returned to Ripley, N.Y. in 1954. She moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1964 when her father who was employed with Welch Foods in New York, took a position with the company in Springdale. She attended the Springdale School System, graduating in 1970. She continued her education at the University of Arkansas. She attended Cross Church in Springdale. Sandy loved to travel. She traveled several times with her family to Hawaii, visit family in Las Vegas and to visit Ripley, N.Y. to visit with relatives or to attend reunions. Her husband Ron and Sandy enjoyed camping as their family was growing up. Everyone who knew Sandy, knew her as a loving, caring, special person. She went out of her way to meet and introduce all she came in contact with. She was especially fond of her cats, who were great company to her. Sandy also dealt with serious health issues most of her adult life. She took her situation in stride and always worked to improve it and to enjoy life to the fullest. She loved to look back at special moments in our lives and to take time to bring old memories to life. If we needed to know something about one of our ancestors, go to Sandy. She had the answers. Her mother and father, Eleanor Marie and Clyde Wesley Moffat preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband Ron Hodge of the home, one brother and sister-in-law, Paul Duane and wife Kimberly Renee Moffat of Springdale, one sister and brother-in-law, Susan Lee and husband Charles Fadjo Cravens of Tulsa, Okla.
