Alvin Morris White

Alvin Morris White, was born on March 12, 1942; formerly of Springdale, Arkansas; passed away on January 13, 2017 at the age of 74. He started as a photographer for the Arkansas Gazette, before becoming a photographer and/or circulation manager for the Springdale/Morning News, then Northwest Arkansas Times, and lastly the Democrat Gazette, retiring in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Cat Evans; his sons, Dustin White and wife, Karla and Deke White; his brother, Bill White and wife, Pat; sister, Nancy Joy; daughter-n-law, Carrie White; son-n-law, Wes Russell; stepdaughters, Diana Means and Jennifer Finch; grandchildren, Mason, Mallory, and Landon White; and step-grandchild, Isaac Chapman. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda White; daughter, Brandi Russell; and granddaughter, Rachel White. There will be a celebration of life service held at the Bentonville Cemetery on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 4 p.m. "He walked with governors, presidents, princes, and queens and now he walks with the King".
