Josephine Violet Florence, 91, Springdale, Arkansas passed from this life January 16, 2017 in Springdale. She was born April 7, 1925 in Waukegan, Illinois to Marcelleus and America (Pickney) Taylor. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Florence; her brothers, Phillip, John, and Henry; her sisters, Ester and Emily. Left to cherish Josephine's memory are her sister, Florence; her daughter, Vivian Florence; her son, Richard Florence and his wife, Barbara; her grandchildren, Ranil Florence, Ranon Brownlee, Rason Spears, Ralona Ferguson, Cindy Boyd, Sonia Boyd, Colisha Boyd, Stephanie Higgins, Sylvester Boyd, Nakisha Boyd, Joponda Warren, and Patricia Boyd; and 35 great-grandchildren.
