Charles Eugene Reed

Charles Eugene Reed, age 87, of West Fork, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 in Fayetteville. He was born July 18, 1929 in Winslow, Ark., the son of Fay J. and Mary Frances Preston Reed. He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters. He was owner of Charles and Sons Bulldozing. He is survived by his wife, L. Christine Reed; four sons, Vince E. Reed, Raymond B. Reed and his wife Maxine, Wes H. Reed, all of West Fork, and R. J. Reed and his wife Liz of Gooding, Idaho; two daughters, Connie Johnson and her husband Mike of Winslow and Tena Jarecki and her husband Mark of Rogers; two sisters, Lois Donaldson of Winslow and Mary Fay Ross of Mountainburg; three brothers, John Reed of Winslow, Kenneth Reed of Campbell, Texas and James Reed of Winslow; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017 at Moore's Chapel until service time at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at the Brentwood Cemetery.
