Julianne Woods Stewart

Julianne Woods Stewart, 99, of Elkins died Feb. 23, 2017 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home. She was born July 9, 1917 in St. Paul, Neb., to Samuel E. and Daisy Nell Cramer Woods. She was a member of the Elkins Community Church, current member of Ozark Cattleman Association, DAR, NWA Cavalcade, McCord Cemetery Board and board member of many other organizations in Northwest Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard (Buster) Stewart and son, Ozzie J. Stewart. She is survived by two sons, Michael Stewart Sr. and wife, Carolyn and John L. Stewart and wife, Gloria all of Elkins; one daughter, Patricia Stewart Whitmire of Fayetteville; one sister, Francis Spencer of Elkins; seven grandchildren, Rhonda Stewart, Angela Stewart Barker, Michael Stewart Jr., Leann Stewart Rogers, Jill Stewart, Michael Justin Hester, Julianne Hester; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017 at Beard's Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at McCord Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
