Bethel Ward Myers

Bethel Ward Myers, 89, of Springdale, Ark. passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Springdale. She was born December 6, 1927 in Greenland, Ark. to Zellous Ward and Flossie Fern (Wood) Ward. She was a former construction supervisor for Southwestern Bell and a member of First Baptist Church in Tulsa, Okla. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Myers; parents; sisters, Melba Lou Ward and Nadine Ward; maternal grandparents, Melville and Flossie Woodward Wood; paternal grandparents, Stanton and Mandy Killian Ward. She is survived by four brothers, Don Ward (Marilyn) of Fayetteville, Ark., Gene Ward (Betty) of Farmington, Ark., Gerald Ward (Donna) of Fayetteville, Ark., Richard Ward Springdale, Ark., two sisters, Christine Rogers (Woody) of Lincoln, Ark., Judith Ward of Springdale, Ark. and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24th from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Moore's Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, February 25th at White Rock Light of Faith Church, 6560 W. Wedington Drive, Fayetteville, with Reverend H.M. Shipp officiating.
