Anna Lucille Jenkins of Rogers passed away on February 19, 2017. She was born on September 18, 1922 in Kane, Penn. to the late Anthony and Amelia Zumpano. She was the wife of Robert Jenkins of Kansas City, Mo., from 1945 until his death in 1984. Anna lived for many years in Kansas City, where she worked as a bookkeeper and a secretary. After her retirement, she began volunteering and was awarded Volunteer of the Year at the hospital where she worked. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, especially her companions in the Red Hat Society. In recent years she relocated to Rogers to be with her daughter, Linda. She attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Fox and husband Mike of Rogers; grandchildren, Tara Nichole Roach, Ryan Michael Fox, Lindsey Ann Roliard; and great-grandchildren, Hudson Roach, Kinsey Roach, Jaxson Fox, and Beckett Fox. She is also survived by Herman Kump, her loving neighbor who cared for her in Kansas City. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; five brothers; and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Burial will take place at 3 p.m. on Thursday in Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City.
