William Guthridge

William A. Guthridge, 84, of Bentonville, died Monday, February 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 14, 1932 in Los Angeles, California the son of Harriet and Benjamin Guthridge. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for one year after moving from Mohave Valley, Arizona. He served in the US Navy for four years during the Korean War. He was an engineer for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents. William is survived by: his wife of 63 years, Barbara Guthridge whom he married January 29, 1954, one son; Richard Guthridge and his wife Lynn, of Anaheim Hills, California, two daughters; Patty Lorton and her husband Chris, of Bentonville, Susan Guthridge, of Bentonville, one sister; Lucia Brooks and her husband Bert, of Upland, California, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
