Cheryl Lynn Harwood Easterling, 72, of Hindsville, went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2017. Cheryl was born September 11, 1944 in Torrance, California, she was the daughter of Burrell and Ruby Harwood. She moved to Huntsville, Arkansas at the age of five and graduated from Huntsville High School in 1961. Cheryl was a member of Heritage Friendship in Nob Hill, Arkansas. She became a real-estate agent and in1972 earned her Broker's License. She worked with her husband in the building business, managed rentals, and a cattle farm. She loved Jesus and sharing her faith with others. She taught Sunday school for over forty years. She enjoyed tennis, gardening, shopping, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents and her father and mother-in-law, Rev. Noel Easterling and Hazel Jones Easterling. Cheryl is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wendell James Easterling, whom she married on November 22, 1963; her son John Easterling; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Sean and Lynn Ryan and Travis and Brooke Luker and eight grandchildren: Adam Ryan, Andrew Ryan, Joshua Ryan, Jacob Ryan, Benjamin Easterling, Henry Luker, Paige Easterling and Blake Easterling. She is survived by one sister, Donna Dennis and her husband Ronald; and two sisters-in-law, Glynna Boone and her husband Jack, and Carolyn Wright and her husband Ronald. The visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church, 1000 N. Gutensohn Rd, Springdale, Arkansas. A celebration of Cheryl's life will be 2 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2017 at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church, Springdale with Reverend Jim Suprlock officiating.
