Eric was an over the road truck driver; a job that he loved. He drove truck for Hamilton Redi-Mix and Swift Transportation. He especially enjoyed training novice drivers. He had to stop driving professionally due to his disability. However, he was excited about his new part time job at the Salvation Army. Eric was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Winslow. Eric will forever be remembered for his laugh, his joking spirit and his dedication to his family. He died, surrounded by family, with the greatest of dignity and courage on his terms. He witnessed his Christianity to everyone that visited him while he was in the hospital. He is now in heaven with his mother who preceded him in death in June of 2014. There will be a memorial service in his honor at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the First Baptist Church in Winslow.
