Dale Nelson

Dale Nelson, 64, of Springdale, Arkansas died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at his home. He was born November 29, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to James and Gertrude Nelson. Dale was a retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant. He proudly served his country for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Jamin Brice. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Beverly Nelson; sons, Anthony and wife, Lola Nelson of Alba, Missouri, Christopher and wife, Sonja Nelson of Bella Vista, Arkansas; daughter, Jessica and husband, Matt Holmes of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; brother, Michael Jones of Altus, Arkansas; sister, Janice and husband, Willie Jones of Ozark, Arkansas; grandchildren, Alex, Madilynn, Gunnar Riley, Gavin, Aiden, Asher, Chandler, Liam and future grandson, Holden, who is due to arrive in June. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 8th at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 13455 N. Mt. Pleasant Road, Gravette, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas School for the Deaf, 2400 W.
