Virgil Kilpatrick

Virgil Kilpatrick, 79, of Lowell, Ark. passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in Springfield, Mo. He was born October 24, 1937 in Mountainburg, Ark. to Marion and Julie (Doss) Kilpatrick. Virgil was retired from Fayetteville Public Schools and Brown's Drywall where he was a drywall hanger. He was a member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale and was an avid outdoorsman loving to fish and hunt. He is survived by his wife Ruth Kilpatrick, one daughter, Loretta Gabbard and husband Greg of Elkins, AR, one son, Ronnie Kilpatrick of Lowell, Ark., two sisters, three grandchildren, Jeremy Claypool and wife Natisha, Heather Dorsey and husband James, Charlcie Sutherlan and husband Jordan, and seven great-grandchildren, Koltyn, Easton, Blake, Abram, Bristol, Alexah, and Harper. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday February 3rd at Faith Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale, Ark. with Pastor Stacey Villines officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
