Lena Mae Robinson

Lena Mae Robinson, age 75, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born on October 1, 1942, in Vendor, Arkansas, to Virgil and Eva Flud Reddell. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Johnny Robinson; her daughter, Inavern Robinson; her sister, Reba Nell Reddell-Cate; her two brothers, Kenneth and Roy Lee Reddell; and her granddaughter, Sabrina Robinson. Lena loved to play bingo and always won. She loved cooking for the family. She was famous for her chicken and dumplings, beans, cornbread, chocolate cake and cocoa and biscuits. She loved her family unconditionally and kept her home open to everyone. She is survived by her loving husband, Clarence Robinson of the home; her son, Jonithan Dwayne Robinson of the home; her two daughters, Doris Cook and husband Bruce of Tontitown, and Kim Hernandez of Springdale; her sister, Joyce Pickering of Hindsville; her brother, Carl Junior Reddell of Tontitown; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Mossville Church in Mossville, Arkansas, with interment to follow immediately.
