Betty Sue Zimmerman

Betty Sue Zimmerman, age 80, of Lowell, went to be with her Lord on Dec. 7, 2017, in Lowell. She was born July 6, 1937, in Hot Springs, Ark., the daughter of Esbond and Lena Kemp Prichard. She was a retired telephone operator for Alltel and a member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed doing crafts, quilting, and spending time with her family. She was preceded by her husband, James William Zimmerman, in 2000; her parents, and her siblings. Mrs. Zimmerman is survived by one son: James Zimmerman and his wife, Mary of Springdale; two daughters: Susan McCranie of Lowell, and Kristy Unkel of Fayetteville; six grandchildren: Phillip McCranie and his wife, Danielle, Jason Zimmerman, Andrew Unkel, Brian Zimmerman, Kasey Unkel and Sarah Zimmerman; two great-grandchildren: Jake McCranie and his wife, Heather, and Kinsey McCranie.
