Olga Scott, 75, of Bentonville, Ark. passed away on December 2, 2017. The world lost a wonderful mom, mother-in-law, grandma, sister and friend. We were so blessed to have had such a selfless person in our lives. Olga spent most of her life dedicated to her family. She raised a daughter, who some can say she was still raising until her last breath, and later was fortunate to take care of her grandsons for a few years before she became ill. When she was not with her family, she was a Bank of America employee for over 20 years. While at Bank of America she uncovered employee fraud that helped catapult the bank from unprofitable to profitable in one quarter. During the holiday's she worked at Macy's and could make amazing gift bows! In her free time she enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, needlepoint, cross stitch, crocheting, ceramics, painting and Friday Night Lights. As a young child, she tap danced. Even as her disease progressed, she kept dancing…she would tap to any music, she specifically liked Hip Hop. Olga is survived by her daughter, Susan Chronister, her son-in-law, Peel Chronister, grandsons, Keagan and Connor Chronister, and her older sisters, Henrietta Jones and Corrine Ramos, and nieces and nephews. Olga loved cardinals and you can be sure she will be sending those beautiful red birds to look after her loved ones. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Florida's Center for Translational Research in Neurodegenerative Disease at https://www.uff.ufl.edu/give-now/?fund_id=017383. At the family's request, there will be a private celebration of Olga's life held in late December.
