Sharon Kay Godsey, 65, of Springdale, went to be with the Lord December 3, 2017. She was born February 10, 1952 in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Preston and Jeanie Madeline Hoover Berry. Sharon was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale and was retired from the Ozark Urology Clinic. She enjoyed painting, sewing, bowling and cooking. She was an amazing mother to her children and to many others. She was preceded by one son, A.J. Godsey. She is survived by her husband, Roger Godsey of the home. Children; Becky Bowlin and Paul of Springdale, Lynn Byrd and Chris of Springdale, Kim Henderson of Columbia, Missouri and Natalie Swatsenberg and Daniel of Siloam Springs. Brothers; Jon Berry and Debby of Atlanta, Georgia and Glenn Milligan and Michelle of Bar Harber, Main, sisters; Mary Moore and Gary of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Jamie Boyce and Neil of Eldorado, Kansas. Grandchildren; Joshua McFarlane, Andrew McFarlane, Megan Byrd, Harper Henderson, Destiny Swatsenberg, Aiden Godsey, Alyssa Bowen, Alec Swatsenberg, Tim Leos, Nick Leos and Dylan Leos. Great grandchildren Jayden Bishop and A'Raya Blackburn. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday December 7, 2017 at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale with Reverend Clark Snow officiating. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers will be Paul Bowlin, Joshua McFarlane, Andrew McFarlane, Ricky Stewart, J.C. Boyce, Arron Ketner, Daniel Swatsenberg and Charles Henderson.
