Thomas J. Staudenmaier, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Saturday, November 25th, 2017 in Fayetteville, Ark. Thomas J. Staudenmaier was born November 20th, 1944 in Sioux Falls, SD. He attended Cathedral Grade School, and graduated from O'Gorman High School in 1962. Following high school, he attended Marquette University. In 1965, Thomas joined the Air Force. On February 24, 1984, Thomas was united in marriage with Barbara Reetz in Bolling AFB, Washington D.C. He retired from the Air Force in 1985 and started Staudenmaier Dental Lab. After retirement in 2011, Thomas resided in Rogers, AR. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, entertaining & cooking, and spending time with family & friends. Thomas was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church & Society of St. Vincent in AR and a member of Disabled American Veterans. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Barbara Staudenmaier of Rogers, Ark.; son Thomas (Greg) Staudenmaier of Apopka, Fla.; daughters, Jennifer Eads of Norman, Okla. and Anastasia Jackson of Starke, Fla.; brothers, Charles (Brigitte) Staudenmaier of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Bill (Beth) Staudenmaier of Denver, Colo.; sister, Charlotte (Roland) Schwab of Sioux Falls, S.D.; brother-in-law, Jack Lovett of Sioux Falls, S.D.; sisters-in-law, Iris Staudenmaier of O'Fallon, Ill. and Nancy (Bill) Winness of Sioux Falls, S.D.; grandchildren, Cassandra, Allison, Noah and Jackie Eads, Elisha, Grace and Alexis Staudenmaier, Devon Jackson and Justin Walker; five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose and Inez Staudenmaier; brother, Herb Staudenmaier; sisters, Virginia Lovett and Margaret Pickart; sister-in-law, Vicki Reetz; mother-in-law, Betty Reetz; brother-in-law, Jeff Reetz. Memorials made may be directed to SVdP Society Rogers, Ark. or The Cathedral of St. Joseph Sioux Falls, S.D. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Monday, December 4th, 2017 at The Cathedral of St. Joseph, 504 N. Summit, Sioux Falls, S.D. Visitation with family present 5:30–8 p.m. with wake service beginning 6:30 PM Sunday evening at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Ave., Sioux Falls, S.D.
