Zoe Shuler Culwell

Zoe Brady Shuler Culwell, 93, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Aug. 16, 2017. She was born Nov. 6, 1923 in Weatherford, Okla., to Adolph Brady and Emma Busch Brady. She graduated from Capitol Hill High School in OKC and retired as a secretary after 35 years from Safeway Stores, Inc. She and Lee Shuler, her husband and the father of her two sons, retired to an acreage at Wanette, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1988. She moved back to Yukon, Okla., and in 1991 married Harold Culwell. In 1996, they moved to Bella Vista, Ark. She loved family, church, birds, gardening and nature. She and Harold were members of the Bella Vista Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, son, David Shuler, and brother Ivan Brady. She is survived by a son, Brady Lee Shuler, and wife Shalene; their sons, Ethan Lee and Blaine Gibson Shuler; and Harold's daughter, Beverly Block and husband, Ken. She is also survived by Lee's granddaughters Amy Heise and Priscilla Forehand and husband Michael as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22, in Arkansas at the Bella Vista Church of Christ. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Graveside attire is casual. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Tracts International, Fayetteville, Ark.
