Janis E. Johnson

Janis E. Johnson, age 73, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Fayetteville. She was born May 29, 1943 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the daughter of Joseph Clint and Mamey Mayes Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Earl Johnson and her parents. She was a licensed practical nurse, having worked at several nursing homes and Washington Regional Medical Center. She is survived by a daughter, Lorna Floerke of Fayetteville; three grandsons, Joseph Floerke, Josiah Floerke and Jacob Floerke all of Fayetteville; a brother, Lee Hulen Ferguson and his wife Linda of Goshen; three nephews, one niece and numerous other family members. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Moore's Chapel. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
